Corroless QDR is a very fast drying, general purpose anti corrosive primer for hand-prepared steelwork containing Corroless rust stabilising pigment. It also contains self-leafing glass flake for improved impermeability and abrasion resistance. Overcoating times typically start at only 30 minutes, enabling a rapid build-up of a repair system in a very short time, for situations where fast turn-round times preclude normal overcoating intervals. Corroless QDR has a designated NATO stock number. Typical applications include bridges, pipework, mechanical equipment and general steelwork.

Application Methods:

• Airless spray: output fluid pressure 3000 psi, tip size 13-15 thou, Fan angle 30-65º. For detailed advice contact Corroless
• Conventional Spray: An addition of up to 10% Corroless Thinners No 3 will be required
• Brush: apply un-thinned, lay on, do not over brush. When rollering, use a short nap lamb’s wool roller and a maximum addition of 5% Corroless Thinners No.2. Lay off with a brush to complete the finish
