Maxmet 300 Metal Putty Stick is a two component multipurpose steel reinforced putty is designed for various repairing, bonding and sealing tasks. It's really easy to mix the product with just one minute of preparation and the repairs will be complete quickly and last permanently. With it you can even rebuild almost any type of material.

The material is supplied in a stick form with a predetermined mix of base and activator. Knead the mixture until a smooth, grey putty is achieved. (Note: Wear gloves when mixing.)

Maxmet 300 Epoxy Putty provides a rapid cure, making it ideal for quick repairs while keeping the downtime to a minimum.

Maxmet 300 is a highly durable and reliable waterproofing material. Not only that, but after drying, it can be sanded and painted with either of our epoxy or polyurethane coating systems to provide further long-term asset protection.

Surface Preparation

All oil and grease must be removed from the surface of the repair using an appropriate cleaner. The material is suitable for application to manually prepared surfaces such as hand wire brush, sanding, mechanical grinding or wire brush. All loose material such as rust or flaking paint must be removed prior to the application of this product.

Mixing and Application

The product is supplied in stick form and therefore the base and activator component are premeasured. Simply break off the required amount of material from the stick and using gloved hands knead the product until the black and grey components become a consistent mid grey. The product once fully mixed has a usable life of 3-5mins at 20°C (68F°). Once a consistent mix has been achieved apply the material by pressing the putty onto the prepared surface.
