Impralan V100 Primer is a white primer or intermediate coat with blocking effect against wood ingredients. Optimum pore filling for coarse-pored wood.

Surface Preparation

The wood substrate must be clean, solid and load-bearing. The wood moisture content should be 12 - 14%. Wood that has been exposed to UV light and weathering for a long time must always be sanded. A greyed lignin layer must be completely removed by sanding, brushing or blasting. Basic sanding may be required for smooth planed surfaces. Remove resin pockets before treatment. Resin leakage and resin discolouration are natural and cannot be prevented by coating measures. Ensure sufficient structural wood protection before coating work.

Depending on the requirements of DIN 68800, protect exterior wood against blue stain and rot with an impralan primer containing active substances.
