ProXL ToughOx Truck Bed Liner is a high-performance 2K polyurethane structured coating.

Providing exceptional durability, impact & scratch resistance, and excellent resistance to water, fuels, chemicals, and oils - it offers exceptional protection for truck bed lining and many other industrial applications.

This 2 part kit is tintable to any RAL, NCS, or British Standard colour, offers excellent adhesion to multiple surfaces (aluminium GPR, wood, bare metal, galvanised steel, rigid plastic, previously coated substrates) and also provides sound deadening & noise reduction properties on top of its durability & resistance properties.

Application Guide

Surface Preparation

Clean and degrease the surface
Remove all loose material and any rust from surface
Sand the surface with P80-P180 grit
Re-clean with degrease

Application

UBS Spray Gun

Nozzle:

3.0mm (coarse texture)

Pressure:

3 -4 bar (45 - 60 PSI)

Distance from object:

min 40cm

Number of coats:

2 coats in an even sweeping motion

Flash off between coats:

10 - 15 minutes / 20°c

HVLP Spray Gun

Nozzle:

1.8 - 2.0 mm (fine texture)

2.5mm (coarse texture)

Pressure:

2 bar (30 PSI)

Distance from object:

min 20cm

Number of coats:

2 - 3 coats

1st coat - applied as an even wet coat

2nd coat - reduce pressure to achieve mist

Flash off between coats:

10 - 15 minutes / 20°c

Roller

For uniform appearance, complete all rolling while product is still wet. Texture can be increased with additional rolling. To avoid trapping solvent do not over apply. Any pooled or over applied areas should be brushed or rolled out. Do not apply more than one coat.
