Polyester Grout is a polyester resin based material used for the rapid grouting and commissioning of machines and structures where the bed thickness is between 3mm and 25mm.
Units to be grouted may contain areas of concrete to concrete, concrete to steel and steel to steel.
The product is suitable to support all equipment subject to heavy loadings and may be used effectively to fill misaligned saw cuts.
Polyester Grout may be placed under water to act as void filler and stress distribution medium. Ungrouted gabions can be submerged and then post grouted using Polyester Grout.
Polyester Grout is supplied as a two pack system ready for onsite mixing, consisting of a tin of base resin and a bag of catalysed filler.
The mixed grout will harden to give rapid strength gain reaching 70N/mm² in 6 hours.
The chemical mechanism will continue at temperatures down to 0°C with only a small increase in hardening time.
The hardened grout is resistant to chemical attack from many chemicals and petroleum products. Two grades are available for summer and winter use.
