Epoxy Mortar ET is a lightweight epoxy resin based concrete repair compound suitable for placing using hand tools. The three pack product consists of solvent free epoxy resin in a tub, a polybottle containing the hardener and a bag of specially graded lightweight filler.
The repair working surface requires priming using Bondcoat UF giving excellent adhesion when applied to most construction materials.
Epoxy Mortar ET is pre-packaged ready for onsite mixing. When mixed, Epoxy Mortar ET produces a high build patching and repair compound which is easy to place onto the horizontal, vertical and overhead surfaces. The product mix design contains a lightweight aggregate which produces a mortar with a low density.
The low density of the mortar enables thick section “single pass” applications to be made. The overall mix design enables fair faced finishes to be achieved.
Epoxy Mortar ET is resistant to a wide range of chemicals including mild acids and alkalis, petroleum products and seawater. The mortar is stable to freezing and thawing.
Uses include:
- Repair of spalled concrete beams, columns and other concrete structures.
- High build applications in the vertical or overhead positions.
