Axalta - ViterFloor 400 Solvent Free Clear Primer is a two pack epoxy, primer/sealer for concrete floors. Can be mixed with fine filler and used as a ‘filled primer’.

ViterFloor 400 is a clear primer/sealer for new and old concrete floors and in particular as a primer/sealer under ViterFloor 300 and ViterShield GPL. Other uses also include using ViterFloor 400 as a clear sealer for bare concrete floors to prevent dusting and dirt contamination. It is resistant to water, oils, chemicals and weak solutions of non-oxidising acids, alkali and salt solutions. In addition, it resists temporary splashes of oxidising acids and bleaching chemicals.

Advantages and Uses:

• No solvent fumes during application which may affect sensitive areas such as food plants
• A primer for ViterFloor 300 and ViterFloor 280
• A primer and clear sealer on its own
• A filled primer for the repair of holes and cracks in concrete floor.
  
  

Application Conditions:

The concrete surface must be dry and at least 12 weeks old. The moisture content of the concrete should not exceed 6%.Only apply in conditions of good ventilation which must be maintained during dryingand curing. Do not apply when rain, mist, sleet or snow are imminent. During application and drying time of the paint coating, the surface should be dry, the Relative Humidity should not exceed 85% and the substratetemperature should remain at least 3oC above the dew point.Paint temperature should ideally be at a minimum of 15ºC.

Shelf Life:

• Minimum 12 months if stored as above in unopened containers.
